Just wondering if for any reason you emailed [email protected], did you ever get a response? And how long did it take?

I'll also throw in within an hour of send 2 emails, I got 2 phishing emails back about me selling my account. Which I usually get "you received an infraction", anybody else got this aswell?

    Thanks for your time

Edit: been nearly a week, and no response is my point.

I always get a response from them, normally within 24 hours. I think it depends on what you send to them, some stuff they will just push to the back and some they will take seriously. I think e-mails that actually look like they are from parents writing to Jagex will get answered quicker than e-mails that are written by kids begging Jagex to unban their accounts.

Have yet to receive a response after weeks. Perhaps it's determined by the type of email used? Maybe they don't respond to easily made ones - @yahoo, hotmail, etc.

Yea I did once and got a reply about a week later. I replied to what they said to me again and it's been two weeks since they've replied. I don't think they will this time.

Interesting, got any tips to make me sound like a parent? Also what email domain was used?

Perhaps, I used a @yahoo.com. Maybe if you used one that was like @wal-mart.com that shows you got a job or something. Or even @hotmail.co.uk since the game is made in the UK.
I see, what type of email domain?

Oh :/ Type of email domain?

I've known you a good bit, and I'm sure they didn't take you as a parent; that's what I'm thinking.

Would it be safe sending in another email, regarding the same account despite having already sent some in as another email address? Maybe they saw through me and didn't bother to look or something.

My domain is @hotmail.co.uk but honestly it shouldn't make a difference, many adults use different e-mail services. Just ensure you are writing in about "your child" and try to make it sound formal, I always get a response off them.

Years ago when I was younger and one of my accounts got banned I E-Mailed them telling them if I didn't get my account back i'd commit suicide. They then sent me a link to some site that helps with suicide patients. LOL.

I've had a chat with Jagex via email twice.
One time was about a perm banned macroing account, in which they said that the offence was by me and that there was no chance in hell that it would get removed.
The second time was when I had bought a UGC for my Negative credit main, and I had -2days after buying it. I was pissed, so I emailed Jagex for them to remove the remaining -2 days, which was nice of them.

First and only time: Response in about 2-3 days.

It varies on how the email is worded. If it sounds like an angry parent, it's marked with a high priority. If it's worded like a kid, then they won't really care about the email.

Probably depends on the topic and how you come across.

I reckon if it is anything about botting, or real life trade, they would just pass it on instantly.

My account got banned back in 2007 for having an offensive name, I emailed them last year asking if I can have it unbanned since you can now change your display name.

They replied within 24 hours and unbanned my account.
