What do I do?

My main account is a tank with 75 defence and 99 range. Recently I got cleaned and so I made a new account. I don't know whether to invest in buying some gp or to buy gold and make a new account.

Should I stick with my old account? The reason I'm thinking about stopping this account is because it has become quite costly to maintain.

Thoughts?

Oh, what would a good way to get 80 defence if I do carry on?

 

As long as you like the PKing, I say stick with that pretty nice account you already have. If ranged tank PKing isn't your personal preference, then maybe sell it and start afresh.

One really good way for defense exp without attack or strength is to burst rock lobsters with defensive casting on. It gets a good 50-75k exp/hr in defense, alone... not to mention some great magic exp and summoning exp, both of which won't raise your combat level and are generally helpful to have.

EDIT: Bursting the zombies in the Ape Atoll dungeon is overall a little better exp/hr in just defense and magic, but if you want summoning at all I strongly recommend rock lobsters instead.

 

Thank you kero for your answer. One of the reasons of thinking of quitting was getting rsgp. I have heard of a lot of bans and so buying it may be risky and so do I go for it and buy?

 

Considering billions of GP are traded legitimately in the game each day, I think there are still safe ways to fake a legit trade of GP. I suggest you talk to the seller of your choice to figure out how he currently trades. Your account is specifically a PKing account, so maybe they can "die" with high risk in items instead of GP or organize a stake.
