Banned account reinstatement?

I know a big fuss was made about this when it was first announced, but has anything come out of it? Last time I checked, the thread had like 1,000 pages but yet they had not even begun to sort through the names. It's been like a year now and still nothing :/

Anyone know the latest news regarding it?

 

I haven't heard anything, it would make Jagex more money so I see no reason for them to delay or cancel this.

 

My thoughts exactly. I have an account that has a few small rares probably totaling like 500M that I'd love to get unbanned for a measly $30 or whatever they were charging. I'm sure there's thousands of other users who are in the same boat as well, seems like an easy $100k to me lol.

 

Yeah, I don't know why they even introduced if they didn't even play on doing it.

 

Just so everyone knows, when they reinstate it, they wipe the bank and do a minor stat rollback. Only reason i would reinstate an acc is if it had a really rare name.

 

They don't wipe the bank. I've only seen a few cases of any items being taken away, and usually they just remove stackables such as coins or runes. It's worth it if you have a few rares, but maybe not so much if you had a giant coinstack or something. Stat rollbacks seem more likely to only occur on macroing bans, but I'm not worried about that either way since the account in question is like a level 90 that has no particularly amazing stats in the first place.
