Signature Suggestion

My suggestion is that you can see how many total pixels your signature is when you click "Preview Signature". Many people do not know how to find the height/width of their signature, so they let it go, and are later infracted for it. I believe that if there was an indicator indicating how many pixels your signature is, it would help keep oversized signatures out of the problem. I'm not too sure how hard this would be to code, but it could probably work.

 

It's quite easy to check the sig size, one way is to print screen your screen. Go to paint and paste it in there, crop the sig only, then you can see the width and length along the bottom.

I don't know if an indicator or alert could be set in place for if you have an over sized sig then previewing it, but if it could be implemented then I would support.

 

TBH I think it would be good to have the 350x650 only apply to the Images in the sig, because measuring text size is kinda tough, and many forums have larger allowances anyways

 

If there is an easy Plug-In for the this or it doesn't cause too much difficulty to code, then sure, I support. But it really isn't much effort to download and install the MeasureIT Google Chrome/Mozilla Firefox addon, which allows you to make a box around your signature to provide you the pixel length and width.

 

Right click --> view image info. And your done on firefox.

Or you can save the image on paint and see the dimensions there.
