Left 4 Dead Multiplayer

I'm thinking of buying Left 4 Dead but wasn't sure whether the multiplayer servers are still active, mainly in the Australian region.

If I was too buy the game for Multiplayer, would you suggest L4D1 or L4D2 or a different game?

Are you playing on PC or Xbox 360?

If your playing on the PC then, both the original Left 4 Dead, and Left 4 Dead 2 have active multiplayer servers. Plus I believe you can play on hamachi, or cracked servers as well.

As for Xbox 360, I know left 4 dead does have some activity still (not sure how much), but Left 4 dead 2 has a pretty good pool of activity for sure.

 

you are still able to find alot of games on both left for deads on the xbox 360 the game is alot of fun if you have a friend to play with you sometime if you play alone and join a game the players in the game can kick you by majority vote (super annoying) but yes there is alot of activity in multiplayer but campaign is just as fun if you like playing as the survivors here is a link to the left for dead blog where you can find alot of info and updates http://www.l4d.com/blog/ i would say buy both of them as they are not to expensive and both well worth the money your paying for them plus they both have alot of DLC to download!

Awesome game, much prefer it to it's previous L4D.
