I'm about to buy something off of PayPal and I would like to use an MM but nobody really does PayPal trades so I'm wondering if there are any precautions I can take in order to avoid being scammed? If I send the money and don't receive the item, is there anything I can do?

Don't go first unless the other person is trusted is one suggestion. I'm sure there is a MM somewhere who uses PayPal.

MM's won't accept the cash and send it on, however they will hold the goods while you get sent the cash.

Why do they do this? So if the buyer chargebacks, the MM doesn't get fucked in the ass.

You could always pay half first and pay the other half when it arrives.
