What is the Best Science?

More, which one do you prefer most?

You're not allowed to post if your answer is "none of them"!

 

There isn't a "best" one. Perhaps you meant, "which are you most interested in"? Or, "which is your favorite to study"?

 

Physics as its the foundation of the other two. Plus much more simplier to study/work on as well.

 

Biology is applied Chemistry which is applied Physics. I prefer Physics but I like all sciences.

 

By that logic, physics is simply applied mathematics.

I show the most prowess in chemistry (indeed I finished highschool with it as my highest ranked subject) however I don't think there is one "best" science. I voted chemistry, but I think the question should be reworded.

Also: biology IS a real science. A damned important one at that. A definition:

Chem is so easy and boring.
Physics is interesting, especially theoretical physics.

 

I obviously do regard it as a real science. I edited two parts of my OP to make me seem like less of an idiot.

 

I failed all science in grade 9 and 10, but, I'd have to say that Physics was the most intriguing, and applicable to real-life. Chemistry I found to be rather tedious, and Biology rather esoteric.

 

Biology is definitely my favorite....life and its processes are the only things in science that really interest me.

 

I'm not trying to be a dick, but honestly, your original post said "obviously biology isn't a real science" or something very close to that, so it appears you did not regard it as a real science. I was going to post something close to what Swan did, because that's an absolutely ridiculous and ignorant statement to make, unless you don't actually know what the definition of science is.

On topic, there are more sciences than the three you've listed, however, out of those three I'm most interested in biology (no science is "the best science"). I do very much like chemistry and physics and enjoyed studying them in high school and college, but I've just always been very interested in various biological subjects.

 

First, I added that it was a joke between my class. Of course I regard it as a science. Jeez, I'm applying to all of schools this year with an intended major in BioChem.

Of course there are more sciences. I took the broad ones because I didn't want to list 200.

 

I don't know if I'd say there's a best. All sciences help each other out. But I love Biology.
