Phone Number

Okay, this question is a little like another thread I made about an email address. I have this persons email address and phone number. Is there any way I can find out information from their phone number? I have their "name" now. Maybe try searching public records for their name or is there anyway to find out who the phone number is registered to? My whole reason for all this is to find out if this person is who they say they are.

So I have: Email address (googled it found nothing)
Phone number (googled it found nothing really but its from Dallas)
Name (first and last, also googled it found nothing with that name)
I have their college dorm address but its in NY and I live down in the south. (any thing I can do with that?)

 

think theres a website called pipl or something like that , Or call up there phone service provider , Say this person abused you over the phone , Ask for there personal details .

 

Try looking up the College on Google maps .

 

May I ask.... why do you want to do this? And I'm sure a quick shoot to the college that he/she goes to will do something. You can also look at area codes and such on the phone, to see if that person actually lives there.

Already know what college they attend it was on the address that I got from them. I'm just trying to make sure this person is who they say they are. What do you mean a quick shoot to the college? Mean call them and ask for information on one of their students? Don't think that would work.
