Precious? I just returned to the game after a very long break. I haven't heard of this "Bot Nuke Day" thing. I didn't know bots like Simba and RiD existed when I made this topic. I've never used a bot before, had they worked, it would have been my first one. So they're far from "precious" to me, you fucking idiot.

 

I'm not really into botting so I don't know the fine details but from what I can make out some jacomb fella created a style of bot such as rsbot which users some format such as mouse position recognition, color coding etc etc. He was the best at what he did but jagex offered him a job than he fulfilled jagex fantasy of eradicating 90% of bots.
But RID and simba use a different botting method that to this day is undetectable but not as known/trusted/good/ as the likes of rsbot.

But don't quote me because that's all Ive been able to clue together, could be 100% inaccurate.

Jacmob did not get offered a job at Jagex, that is a common misconception. He might have been the best at making a reflection client but that is far from being the best bot maker, and who is "the best" is all a matter of opinion.

RSbuddy used reflection which hooked the game and was able to read object ID's, RS Tiles for walking, and tabs etc etc. Jacmob did nothing to help remove bots from the game Jagex's cluster flutter update did that but color bots were unaffected by that update.

RiD and Simba are well known trusted and good.

@OP all reflection bots are "currently" down and I am pretty sure they wont be back up anytime in the foreseeable future despite what they claim.

Thanks for clarifying that Edward, I was close enough for someone who doesn't use bots though?
Edit; I do realize how good and trusted they are ( rid/samba) because I've always seen them here for as long as I can remember it's just the mentality newcomers have to them.
