    Hi, I just thought I'd share a bad experience I have been having with the famous Gold4fun (former Gold4rs), now this is not the first time I've had issues with them but this one is by far the worst. I dont want to completely shame company because buying gold dose not seem a problem its buying accounts that is the issue.

    So I bought 2 accounts about a month back, one that I still have today and no problems, but the other a mid level boxing account I payed about $35 for was recovered within a few weeks, I returned and after numerous days and hours and open and closed disputes they decided to offer me a choice of replacement accounts however these accounts were lower value then the previous one, I was sick of arguing so I stumbled across one that was like $24 and was pretty decent, had 99 crafting, based melee stats with 1 prayer and 1 summon. I made this account members a few days later, and played on it for maybe a week tops until it was recovered. I returned to explain this to them and they wanted no part of it what so ever and repeatedly terminated me from live chat. So I opened yet another dispute. Some women I could barely understand phoned me telling me to close the dispute and come to livechat. Ugh how about sdfu and smd.

    Here is a transcript of the conversation we had in the pay-pal dispute. (I have replaced the names for security purposes)

    I am opening a dispute against this company for an payment made on my other paypal account [email protected]. I made a payment of around $35.00 for a RuneScape account. The account was recovered from me and I was replaced with another account which weeks later was also recovered. When I contacted the company Gold4fun.com, I was told to wait 2 days, I waited these days for them to recover my account. When I returned to see if I they have recovered the account or had a replacement they declined and terminated chat numerous times. This company knows that I cannot dispute after 45 days so they wait that time until they recover the account and then resell it again. This is fraudulent activity. Here is a transcript of one of my conversations with a customer service operator from their company:

    "You are now chatting with 'Frelar'

    Rony wollis: Your company is scamming me...

    Frelar: Hello,how may I help you today?

    Rony wollis: [Quote from another operator] "Meray: Its the 2nd account to you for this order, we cant give you any account now, because we have this account for more than 1 month, all safe, sorry, bye"

    Rony Wollis: The account I bought was recovered. and now they wont recover it for me or give me another account.

    Rony Wollis: Im going to open a paypal dispute.

    Chat session has been terminated by the site operator." I'm using this account to open the dispute as I could not find the transaction in my other paypal account. But I would still like to make a dispute against the company Gold4fun.com, They have virtually stolen the money from me and I have not received my product and they have no intentions of returning my product, replacing or refunding. If this dispute is not enough for them to consider that their company is in the wrong. I will take further action by other means until I see justice. I will continue to try and communicate with their customer service operators until this dispute is resolved.

    I would appreciate it if you actually read my dispute. I'm not disputing the $2.40, I did receive the gold for that payment. I'm disputing the account [email protected] that was recovered from me after I bought it from your company. When contacting your livechat person I'm always told to return in 5 hours, or 2 days, or 10 hours and then your live-chat people terminate the conversation. I would like the account returned or if its not possible for your company to recover the account I would like an account of equal value or a refund of the same value of the account I purchased. I made the purchase on my other paypal account [email protected] but that account is now limited. Please read carefully what I have stated.

    I received your message you left on my phone and I contacted live-chat, I was told that your company cannot recover the account that I purchased and to return in 4 hours after Meray had spoken to the manager about my dispute. I will not close this dispute and I will escalate this dispute into a claim if I'm not either refunded the full amount that I paid on my paypal account "[email protected] or given an secure replacement account of equal value. I hope we can resolve this dispute quickly.

    Your not even reading my dispute are you? Everytime I go to talk to your live-chat they just ask me to come back in 5 hours.

    I just went to your live-chat and told Meray that you told me to come here, Meray said has no idea about it, and to come back later.... This is getting ridiculous. If you would just pay some attention and actually read what I'm saying this would not be so difficult.

    I'm not even sure if they understand English because as simple and straight forward as I try to explain it to them they just don't seem to catch on. The dispute is still open and I will not stop until I get what I paid for.

    Now I know I amped it up a little in the dispute and made it sound a lot worse then it actually is, but thats what you have to do if you want to get anywhere with big companies.

    Rage much, Glad I had my vent.


    EDIT: Still no resolution after all the hassle I was told that I could choose an account for $20 then they changed their mind and said I could choose one for $15, I complained as thats half of what I paid. Then I gave in and picked an account that was $8 and pretty much useless. Then I was told the account was sold out.... Then I was told that the manager said I cannot get a replacement account or an refund. So I pretty much said Gtfo and I'm escalating it to a claim, and let paypal deal with them. Javen a representative has contacted me and shower far more concern then anyone of them on their website and I'm appreciative of that.


    EDIT2: Finally a resolution thanks to Javen from Gold4fun, with out him my refund would not of been possible, Although once again still issues, maybes its a language barrier? I was Pmed by Javen and he informed me that they have decided to issue me a full refund! win! but they refunded into the account that I stated was limited so I cannot withdraw it anyways, So in the end Gold4fun done the right thing, if it had not of been for my complaining. But I'm still down $35 Oh well :) Life goes on. If anyone has any issues regarding Gold4fun I would strongly recommend contacting Javen.

    It sucks man but like ^^Javen^^ said maybe he can get it worked out for ya

    Something similar happened to me this summer.

    I sold them an account for $15. They said they would pay me in two weeks, but they they said the account got locked so they couldn't pay me.
    I unlocked it for them, and they said it would take ~2 more days for them to pay me, and I never received my payment. I haven't recovered it because quite honestly I don't really want it, but I would have liked my $15.

    I told him my situation and I really do appreciate him taking concern in my issue unlike others from the company.

    Everyone works at Gold4Fun values each one of our customers.

    Like I said in the PM, it's just that we need time to investigate whether the buyer is cheating (sometimes they do), and we have a policy that claims for compensations for more than once have to be dealt with carefully.

    My apology for them not having been polite enough on LiveChat, our LiveChat agents can be extremely busy most of day. Gold4Fun Jerry, Kevin and me will always be here to look into your case and find out a best solution.

    I'm sorry Javen, I know that your doing your job, and trying to make your company look good, but the customer service at Gold4fun is very poor, along with most other gold sites. The large majority have poor English, grammar and use the auto-speak a lot. Eg. I had a LiveChat agent completely ignoring me and spamming "we need more time" seriously like 15 times. How is that valuing customers?

    And the really sad thing about it is that when I was trying to explain to the LiveChat agent that I'm losing money because of this company he had the nerve to say "we lose money too".

    At the end of the day and all the disputes and conversations and waiting and being terminated from chat. Gold4fun still has my $35 and I have nothing of what I paid for.

    For a company that states that they are professional they have a lot to learn.

    It's well documented all over the internet and throughout several fourms that Gold4Fun is not the best service. Everyone considering them should rethink very carefully, and read up on other people's previous experiences with them.

    I don't think they are too bad with selling gold, their downfall is that the quality of customer service is very poor. And the account trading is just a nightmare, everyone knows that the person that created the account can almost certainty recover the account again if they wished to.

    So if you buy an account from a gold site, that's not trained by the actual company you have a fairly high chance that its going to be recovered and you are going to lose money, as I have on 2 occasions. Although I have one account I purchased from that I have had for about 3 months now, and the only reason I think It has not been recovered is because I think the person legitimately quit playing.

    Then again if the account is recovered after I have paid for it and trained it my self, and I go back to Gold4fun and ask for a refund or replacement they will decline and suggest that I'm scamming them.

    It's just sad that you have to go this far and rant and rave and complain until they finally go "oh no this is making our company look bad we are going to lose money we better do something".
