Weird Situation

So around February/March of earlier this year, I had a blackberry which I had internet/data with.


During school hours, I would use my phone internet and go on Sythe and post around, small posts here and there in the like RuneScape General section. About a week or so after doing so, I realized that the IP was banned, the IP of I guess my phone provider that is. I didn't think much of it, just not being able to use sythe at school, my account was fine on my own computer. I just now realized, (after having gotten a new phone - still a blackberry/same phone company/service provider) that I can access the sythe forums on my phone. I've been able to do so for months now, but I just randomly put it into perspective and realized that it's weird that the IP is no longer banned.

Just curious, anyone have ANY idea as to what happened? Lol.

 

Happened to me when I used to browse on my phone. It seems that when users are banned, moderators ask admins to ban every IP listed on the banned user's account(s). So basically, if one of those banned members used an IP off a Blackberry, etc., (since the IP is usually the same for phones), you won't be able to view it off your phone.

I guess that makes sense, I guess it's just weird that the ban was lifted as I switched phones? However, in that case, someone who have to request the lift of a bank of the phone's IP? Unless admins Un-Ip Phone IPS regularly.

I was browsing on Sythe while on my work experience placement. The IP got banned, I notified FireZ and it was unbanned..
