Bonus exp weekend?

Was just watching a noname nate video and he mentioned something about a bonus exp weekend and I tried looking on the forums but i couldn't find anything about it... Anyone want to enlighten me :love:

Also if there isn't or no one knows what noname nate is on then post wether you think a bonus exp weekend will be coming up soon since runescape has been functioning pretty well without bots!

 

There's usually a bonus exp weekend every 6 months or so. There was one mid-september, and one in march or april. There's also random events Jagex throws in like the weekend where dung exp and certain drop rates in certain places were doubled, or the weeklong bot nuke celebration.

 

There hasn't been a double xp weekend in a few months and I don't believe there are any upcoming weekends.

 

It seems that the pattern over the last couple years has been a Bonus XP Weekend held every six months, usually in September and then again in March. Since we just had one in September, it would be fair to assume that we may have another one coming up in March.

If you haven't been around for a Bonus XP Weekend before, what happens is that as soon as you log in there is a bonus XP multiplier that takes effect, starting at something like x2.8. It slowly decreases every half hour/hour in tiny increments, until after a certain amount of hours you get a flat rate of like 1.5x or something like that, for the rest of the weekend.

I've only experienced one myself, and I really didn't take advantage of it at all, so my numbers are most likely incorrect. But the concept is still the exact same.

 

I've missed every singe double exp weekend. (I've usually decided to take a break)

yer it will most likly be march but it will probably be members only which is what they have done since the 1st one
