Golden Sythe! New rarest RuneScape Item! ONLY 25 ingame.

As some of you may and most of you may not know, there is a new rarest item in RuneScape, the 'Golden Sythe' there is ONLY 25 in-game and they was given away at a Deathcon II event at RuneFest, for more information go here http://runescape.wikia.com/wiki/Golden_scythe

Rarer than Christmas cracker, half wine, blue phat etc...
I wonder what the prices are like and if anyone on Sythe owns one, jesus these gonna go for BILLS lol.

 

I imagine they aren't tradeable right? So you would have to sell the account that comes with it. I don't see them being worth THAT much (personally I wouldn't want one), but I'm sure there are people who would pay ridiculous amounts of money for one lol.

Are there any benefits of having a Golden Scythe, other than just showing them off?

Lol it's nontradeable so not many people will actually want it.

 

It doesn't appear to give any bonuses other than to show off, seeing as it's not tradable, unless people are really obsessed with it and buy an account then I doubt they would sell much. It would still generate some popularity if you wielded it in W1 G.E or Lumbridge.

I really would not waste money and time in getting this. Just doesnt look so appealing in my opinion.

I don't think it worth anything... the owner of the account would probably recover the account back with the item since it's not tradable.
It doesn't even look at nice in my opinion.

Define 'worth'? Are you suggesting that cosmetic items in general are of no value? Discontinued items, holiday rewards, random event costumes, ornament kits, etc? Technically these 'worthless' items are amongst the most expensive in Runescape. I'd like to think that this golden scythe will be of some sentimental/nostalgic value for those that had won them. In that sense- they are worth something to someone.

 

Yeah 10 years from now, if RuneScape even lasts that long.

 

Ten years from now what? I don't understand what you're trying to say. You figure the golden scythe won't hold any sentimental value for the possessor until a decade passes? I think you're wrong. The scythe acts as an artifact for the runefest event they attended, whether or not it was hosted in their home city, or they had to travel across seas to attend.

Ain't worth shit to me, and anybody who is willing to pay BILLIONS for an account that has one is probably too dumb to be handling that kind of money in the first place. They really don't have much value unless you are one of those kids who likes to log in just to strut around the GE showing off your bank/items.

It shows that you went to runefest, that's really it. They are cool but I still preffer the original scythe .

 

Nothing impressive about it. I think this is pretty much useless.
