    and ladies, ofc :D
    1 c4n h4s 4w3s0m3 th34d n4m3zz..
    Now, to the question:
In botting, which is better high clocked Ram or more capacity?
Eg: Is 6gb ddr2 ram better than 12gb ddr1 ram?

    Allllso:
How many bots could this setup run:
FOUR (4x) Intel Xeon 3.0Ghz CPU
    12GB RAM PC2100 DRR1
    or this:
    2 x Intel Xeon 3.4Ghz - 800 Mhz FSB
    6 GB RAM - DDR2 400Mhz

tavarich N00b awaits yer answers! :)nuts: )

Ps. Not excatly shhhure whether this is the right place, but atleast it concers Rs cheating (when some awesome bot is released to public)..

    More ram imo.
Clock and timings doesn't have a big impact.

Logically would be same as ddr2 is only *3 and ddr *2 so 12 gb would be better choice
    or is it?

    edit:
How much ram do runecrafter, wc'er, and sorcererr use?

DDR2 is still more or less used. DDR3 is becoming more popular though.

In that setup, the ram would be ddr 1.
Would there be any difference with 12 gb or 16 gb ram or will cpu run out of power first?

A good rule of thumb is for ever gh of botting you need 2gb of ram (for simba/scar). but the number variaes between bots and is going down.

    Thanks
But why do the bots even need so much ram?
Could ithe scripts not be more optimized that it would not need so much ram (load unnecessary amounts of data)?
Is using Java as language makin it less resource friendly?
Anyone want to code a bot in Assembly?

    EDIT:
The answer has not yet come(sp?) to me.
So whats the ratio of PC-2100 server ecc memory to DDR3 1066 memory?
What is the bandwidht difference and how does it affect bot performance?
    Kind(or not trololol) regards..

    :)

Definitely a higher RAM would be better than more capacity.

RAM = random access memory, program memory used at that instant at that very moment is used, therefore the more RAM, the more bots you can run without lag, and of course, relatively, the more programs you can open without a problem

Capacity = storage space, not really used when botting, only good for "saving" documents and shutting down your computer and coming back to reopen your saved files

Are you speaking of RAM capacity (eg 4gb of RAM) or HDD capacity (e.g 1Tb)?

Do you have any idea of the ram capacity/running clock performance ratio?

    Thanks.
I Finally dound the bandwidth ratios!!
Anyways here's a link to the table:
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_device_bandwidths
    good ol' wikipedia.
    So pc2100 ddr 1 goes with 2.1 GB/s
    PC2-3200 DDR2 goes 3.2 GB/s
    meanwhile.. in Russia:
    PC3-20000 DDR3-SDRAM (triple channel 192-bit) .... 60.0 GB/s lol
Means more ddr choice is better (countin out the super ddr3 one - simply the mobo which could run that is way out o me budged :D)!
    At least....
    In theory :D

    Edit so this:
HP Proliant DL585 Quad (4x) Dual Core 2.4Ghz 64-Bit 32GB RAM Server would be good for botting?
    Atleast it's under 500 €...
But then, i could get multiple
HP Proliant DL360 G3 Dual Xeon 2.8Ghz 2GB RAM 1U Servers each ~70€ when buyin multiple..
If only electricity would be freee...
