RS Client closing?

This is happening to me so much.

I'm using the RuneScape downloadble client from their website.

It does not lag, it will just freeze for about a second or two, then the whole thing will just collapse.

No, I'm not running too many things on my computer, and I have tried un-installing, and re-downloading.

Happens at least a couple of times an hour..

WTF.

 

I've had this problem sooo many times, when you enter some loading screen like when you enter the wilderness, then it will close (not if you just logged in but after a while I noticed).
I'm 100% sure that your game mode is on SOFTWARE, I tell you what.
All the game modes have problem I noticed:

Software: client closes
OpenGL: screen zooms-in and couple seconds out when entering something (house portal room in your house).
DirectX: black parts on your mini-map.

The best one is to use DirectX, which I'm using now... I don't know why the game modes have these problems, but many others have it aswell.
Play in DirectX and you're good, only the problem with black parts of your mini-map sometimes...
