    Simple photo-manipulation. The goal isn't an overload of retarded BOOM IN YOUR FACE WHOOSH SWISH effects. Just a couple gradient maps and layer blending.

    My attempt, is this what you were going for? I know the edges are very dark, it was a quick make anyway just to show the colours/tones.

    Sorry for the late reply (moving house, lack of internet), basically I combined some Levels and Curves, as well as photo filters and dark/light tool.
