    Question

Yesterday as I was backing out of my driveway to go get my brother, I hit my sisters car. It's not TOO bad. The only damage is that I hit her mirror which is broken, and I broke the red part of my taillight.

So my question: How much do you all think it will cost to get fixed? I'm not broke but I could have definitely used the money for something more important.

    Question

Hmm, not really sure how much car wing mirrors cost nor a part of a tail light. I can't imagine they would cost hundreds, best thing to do is just go to the car garage and see what they say. Good to know you weren't injured when you hit her car.

    Question

Is your car not insured? They should cover the damages.

    Question

Sorry to break it to you, but car mirrors are probably more important than anything else you would probably spend your money on.

    Question

It doesn't sound to me like the damage is too extensive, but you just never know. I was in my first car accident EVER recently, where I backed out into a van of 2 ladies who were backing out at the same time and were directly behind me.

The damage seemed incredibly small, and I was quite relieved that it probably would not cost very much, but after inspection it turned out that the back bumper had to be removed so that the corner could be properly repainted, and the damage ended up coming to about $700. I couldn't believe it!

So the point is, its hard to judge until you go and get it looked at by a professional and find out how much replacement parts are going to cost, and to paint over the scratches and stuff etc. Good luck man!

    Question

Rear view mirror isn't as important as side mirrors. I'm assuming you broke a side mirror not a rear view mirror.
