My runescape is running in slow motion all of a sudden and I am using a brand new Dell laptop doesnt seen to be a issue with ram or anything. The framerate is just at a constant slow state.

Go into the Developer's Command Console (press ` while on RS) then type: /displayfps

Change your graphics setting (Direct X, Software, etc.) and check what FPS you are running at on each setting to find one that is working better for you.

Let me know if that works out as well. Works on my netbook.

They all are running at 26 FPS. And all continue to go in slow motion.

Is your Java up-to-date, and is there anything on your computer taking up a massive amount of CPU?

Try rebooting your computer to the factory state or whatever . It should fix everything .

Brand has absolutely nothing to do with a computer's hardware.

Your computer has nothing to do with it, tried going minimum for a bit, happened to me with my new computer, I set graphics to minimum and it ran fine, now it runs good in high detail.

Have you tried looking on the official RS forums for technical solutions?

I can't guarantee that anything is on there, but there have been tens of thousands of people having problems loading/running Runescape after the bot nuke update. I have a really nice computer and it was running very slow for me for a few weeks, but finally it has sped up again. If you check the forums, the Jagex Mods often post technical solutions to common problems that people are having, or step by step instructions on possible ways to fix certain issues. It would be worth a look.
