"Immortals"

I saw this today in 3d with my girlfriend and it was AWESOME!

Highly suggest this movie to anyone who reads this.

If you've seen it, what's your favorite part?
I liked when Theusus fought the guy in the bull mask, and when Hermes smashes their skulls with his hammer before Zeus kills him.

 

It was pretty god damn satisfying, i agree. I've been a fan of Tarsem Singh since his film 'The Fall'. He's always been a stylistic visual director- so he was perfect for the job directing Immortals.

During post-production of the film i was so worried that the production company would edit and eventually slam a PG-13 on the movie- which would completely butcher it. Luckily, Tarsem didn't succumb to bullshit, got a hard R rating- and despite the violence, is still kicking ass in the box office.

The dialogue and acting were both surprisingly satisfactory. The action sequences put 300 to shame, and the main antagonist played by Mickey Rourke really held the film together well.

I recommend this film to all, and i suggest that it is seen in the theaters, it belongs on the big screen.


A word with the OP, i suggest you make note of the spoilers in your 'favorite scene' - you wouldn't want to ruin it for anyone would you?

Watching it in 3D is just a lot better recommend you guys go see it in 3D very good movie.

It is a really good movie, I'm always a fan of movies with Greek gods and movies based on old times. Well worth going to see!

 

I have watched this movie last week. First i was not agreeing to watch the movie as i was considering this movies same as other adventure movies but it really proved me wrong.

 

I'm watching it in 3D tomorrow. Cant wait

I didn't like it as much as 300, I thought some of the action parts where pretty neato, but I felt as if 300 had a more grizzly feel to it

 

My friend and I before seeing this movie we both agreed that we thought it would be awful.

One of the best movies I've seen in awhile. It was completely opposite of what my friend and I were expecting. I actually wouldn't mind going to see it again.

 

Wouldn't call it better than 300 but yeah it was a cool experience, definitely see it in 3D!

 

I want to go and watch it, but I don't have the money.

I saw it and was absolutely indifferent throughout the whole movie. It just didn't do it for me.
