What sort of a marketing strategy is this..?

Today, my dad ordered 2 fried chickens from a chain.
But what we got was less than 2.

He called, and this is what they say:
1 chicken = 550g
but 2 = 950g

What kind of a retarded strategy is this?

 

Like chicken sandwiches or..?

 

2 sure as hell better be less the price if your getting 150g less

 

What the hell does it matter, whether it's a sandwich or not?

It's not like the retaurant is using the lower volume as the marketing strategy, the MARKETING strategy is the lower price. The BUSINESS strategy is serving less.
