Is Desert Treasure Hard?

Alot people say Desert Treasure is a really hard quest. I was just wondering is it as hard as everyone says, because I have never done it before.

 

Lots of variables:

Stats.
Whether you're shit at combat or not.
What items you take.
Your internet connection.

etc.

 

its not really hard....just long....I've done it a few times on 1 def/1 prayer accounts...it still wasn't very difficult....but of course the level of difficulty is relative.

 

50 att,99 str,82 mage,1 range,1 prayer, 10hp (Hoping to have). Good internet connection,food,cannon,pots. What about with those stats, items etc.?

 

I'm 99% sure 10hp will get you no where but killed .

 

DT is possible with 10 hp 1 prayer. There's a guide on RSOF for it ... just search "9hp pure guide".

 

Easy as long as you have a partner. Its just a really time consuming quest.

 

how do you mean a partner can you double team the bosses or something?

 

Dt is extremly easy ive done it like a million times on pures. You shouldent really have trouble with this quest.

 

just because you can run through a quest because you have done it before doesn't make it easy... especially "extremely easy". he/she hasn't done it b4 so it may be extremely difficult.

 

By the time you've met the requirements to do DT, you'll know how quests are actually "hard."
They may be hard because they are actually challenging and require skill, or because they're just very long and annoying.
For DT, I would say that it's the latter.

But you should upload a picture of your stats, and we can help you out from there.

 

You should have at least 44 pray. Although I've seen people have their friends help and do it with 1 pray. It is a rather lengthy quest

 

Desert Treasure is pretty easy. Atleast it was much easier than I had expected it to be...

Also, my friend just did it on his pure recently which I was convinced would be a nearly impossible task and that he would die many times without blockers and would get very frustrated... needless to say, he beat the quest with ease leaving me looking like a jackass, and wondering how hard the quest really is lol. His character is barely combat level 60 btw... 1 defence, 1 prayer.

It is more the length than anything that gets to you. Make sure you put aside atleast 3 hours. The hardest parts are the 4 boss battles to retrieve the diamonds, and they aren't too bad.

 

The quest is easy after you have done it once or twice, the first time is a bit nerve racking for sure. Just get a friend who has done the quest so they can block for you. I have done it at least 5 times now with 1 def 11 prayer, but never with 10hp like you are intending to do, I would recommend you bring rocktails with you to make your max hp over 10.

As a side note by the time you finish the quest you will probably get 20+ hp because you do have to attack the 4 bosses in order to retrieve the 4 diamonds.

 

He'll be cannoning to stay 10 HP. Obviously he wants to stay at 10 HP as there is no other reason to attempt the quest at such a low level.

 

Its a really easy and overrated quest, just use a guide and you'll be fine.

 

I don't know about DT but I hope you aren't expecting to get rich by rushing with 10hp.. You will die even before you can rush someone. Just advice

 

Why on earth would you have 10 hp?? I really don't understand all these pures nowadays. Theres a pure for everything; including a 1 def and 10 hp pure...wtf???? ANYTHING can knock you out, idgaf if you're 99 str/attack or whatever. It's completely pointless tbh
