    Help picking a major.

Does anyone know some websites that have surveys that help you pick maybe what could be a future job for you? Like you pu your interests in and it gives you jobs.

I'll be transferring to Texas a&m university next fall and am undecided on my major and a little help getting this decision made would be nice.

    Thanks :)

First of all , being in college and undeclared is the best thing you can possibly do. Nearly 80% of college students will switch their majors at least once in their college life, but only 20% of students who come in undeclared once declared change majors.

So don't worry mate about being undeclared i am still undeclared (Going into my second semester in the spring) and i am just taking core classes and entry level classes in pretty much every major possible. So..

    no worries mate.

Or maybe try to narrow it down to a field you're interested in. I knew I wanted to be an Engineer, but not what discipline. I went in as an Undecided Engineer and took lots of classes that gave me a broad array of what different disciplines had to offer. Same thing works with Chemistry, Business, etc...

If you can narrow it down it will be much easier in the long run. Although if you're completely undecided there is absolutely no problem going in that way. You may have to take an extra semester, but at least you'll have given yourself many options.

Thank you too for the educated opinion. I am 3/4 my basics after next semester at this local college so y'all are right it just might hit me one day. I'm interested in engineering as well and I know i want minor in communications.

Take a lot of general classes; I think I want to go into corporate law so my adviser is putting me into some beginning law classes to see if that is what I really want. I have literally changed my mind 3 times in the last year or so because I have a huge range of interest.
