Bot Unequipped

Last few days when I've been checking my bots, I've found that some of them have been totally unequipped when I check them.

They are not doing anything that could actually cause them to die, so I was wondering what this could be.

 

What client are you using?

When i was running Perfect Fighter, on occasion my abby demon botters would have random items unequipped such as amulets/boots/shield. Never really figured out exactly the cause of the problem but I just figured it was something wrong with the bot itself lol

 

I have no idea, your best bet would be to babysit one of these bots and keep a close eye on them to determine the cause of the issue.

 

Been happening to me too, not sure what the problem is...

 

There is no client. I'm using a custom one I wrote that takes control of the mouse and does color recognition. I have a bunch running in VMs. Hmm that's weird, for mine, all the items have been unequipped, but it's only happened to characters wearing 1 or 2 items.

Which bot are you using?

Yeah I'll probably have to do that. It's pretty rare though. Only happened once in the last 8 hours of botting 5 accounts for me.

 

Hmm, you're sure no other players are luring a monster to you then running off to leave you with the monster? Or perhaps Jagex are doing it?

 

I'm 100% sure it's not a monster. Even if it were a monster, I'd still keep 3 items.

I think it's Jagex, I'm pretty sure I actually recently got a blank IP login, which can't be a good sign.

Thinking of selling most of my gold soon.

if you have screen-recording software you could always use that, I did it for my agility bot overnight once, just make sure you delete the file afterwards cuz it's generally a couple gigs haha

Good idea. I think I'll give this a try and post the results here.

I don't think it's specific to my bots, that's also why I'll be sharing whatever I figure out.


Also, it didn't happen at all last night. Hmm

 

Maybe your bot is accidentally clicking bank worn items (as opposed to bank inventory)? The two buttons are right next each other so it's a possibility?

 

You're not in fixed mode?

 

That was my first thought too, but it doesn't really make sense because that is outside of its "human error" range.

 

yes , i have to update my dll's about every 10 or so hours :/ but its still worth it, lots of empty spots
