i'm a *noob*

Hey, i was thinking about making my own sig (i have no idea where to start or what to do)
without sounding like a complete idiot, i was wondering if anyone could help.
I have no idea what programs people use or how to make decent text etc,
i've look'd at a few guides, and still don't seem to get what i'm doing
could someone patiently help me? as i'm completely new to making sigs

Download photoshop trial and read some tutorials here or on youtube etc. Grab some textures and brushes from deviantart or elsewhere to get started (be careful what your sources are).

You just have to experiment and learn from trial and error, we can't tell you what to do because that is for your creativity to do. Just start small with basic tutorials from DeviantArt and work your way up.
