Could it get any worse?
My application in the the university I want to get into gets denied.
I get scammed around $350.

Have I committed so many wrongs to deserve this?
What comes around does comes around. At least, to me it does, I guess.

There's nothing that could be done about what has happened. What's happened in the past happened in the past.
I'm just feeling very depressed right now.

Does anybody have any words of comfort
some quotes, sayings, idioms, or videos that would make me feel better?

well, a few months ago I had the same prob, I just felt really bad, I didn't know what to do... I screwed over all the shit and started writing a new page in book called life.
not every day is a bad day, there will be a better day, but maybe not today.
^I just made this up myself

 

Bad things in life make you stronger.

You got scammed, so now you wil take more caution making you a better trader.
You got denied, but now you know to have a better application, you will make it better.

You have to experience bad things like this otherwise you'd be a terrible person.

 

Unfornately things happen in life . You have to overcome them and adapt . I hope you learn your lesson in not scamming and trade safe in the future and well university is university it does not matter where you get the degree 9 times out of 10 its just the fact you have a degree unless you want to go into a profession like being a doctor or a nurse or lawyer.
