Hey guys. I'm not sure if this is the right section, but whatevs.

I haven't played Black Ops on my Xbox in a few months, because there is a delay from my controller to my Xbox. It's like a second delay or so. It's not lag from the server or anything. Like if I move the analog stick or push a button it takes about a second to react. This was annoying as fuck in multi-player. I get wrecked in multi-player at my house, but I'm a beast at friends' houses.

Anyway, I thought it was just with Black Ops. Last night at the midnight release I got Dragonball Z Ultimate Tenkaichi. It's a fun game, but I'm having the same problem with it. I even tried using a different controller. Same problem. Does anyone have any ideas on what I could do to fix this before MW3 comes out? Is there any way to calibrate this or something? Don't tell me to just Google it either, because when I do I just find threads of dumbasses asking how to synch a wireless controller to their Xbox lmao

Thanks in advance for the help!

I don't think you can calibrate it via the Xbox. I think there's certain games that will allow you to calibrate it (Guitar Hero for example) but I don't think it's a feature that the Xbox itself has. It sounds to me like your TV has really bad input lag. It shouldn't be a full second though. There's nothing you can do to decrease your input lag other than buy a new TV. On the very rare occasion, the TV might have a 'Gamer' mode that will decrease the lag but like I said it's pretty rare to see that. What type of TV are you playing on? (i.e. LCD, Plasma, CRT, etc... I don't mean the brand name)

Maybe you have some sort of interference? What do you have around you or your xbox?

Try it on a different TV, if it's fine on another tv then it's input lag imo.

    How old is your TV?
