Banned then unbanned I.P

Sorry if this is in the wrong place, I didn't know where else to put it.

Just a quick querry really.
For the past week or so, I have been trying to visit Sythe, but to my shock, I was getting the message that my i.p had been banned and I was no longer able to visit the site at all. I had no idea why this had happened, I had no reports filed against me or anything of the matter. I then randomly decided to visit Sythe again today, and am now strangely able to once again log in to my account, and see that there is nothing changed and nothing been posted against me after searching around.

Was just basically wondering if anybody knows what went on, or if anybody else experienced anything of the like?

Were you using a proxy before? If so you could have used a proxy a user has been previously banned on.

 

You have a dynamic IP, so it frequently changes. Someone near you who uses the same provider probably got the IP banned, then it was reassigned to you. If it happens again post a dispute with a proxy or stop by the irc and we can probably work out getting the IP unbanned.
