For anyone who cares, i used to write poems, but i stopped cause Ive had writers block and i suck..

My first poem ever:

My friend,
My companion,
Through good times and bad,
My friend,
My buddy,
Through happy and sad,
Beside me you stand,
Beside me you walk,
You're there to listen,
You're there to talk,
With happiness,
With smiles,
With pain and tears,
I know you'll be there, throughout the years!
You are a good friend to me and I am grateful to you.

LISTEN UP

I feel held back,
I feel I can't call out,
I know of freedom of speech,
But i can't express myself,
Built up feelings,
I want to scream out,
People holding me back,
Just get out!,
Laughter,
Hatred,
All mixed up,
No one is listening,
They say life's tough,
Politicians telling us what to do,
I'm tired of it,
Probably just like you,
So lets get together,
And stand up for what's right,
If your with me get up and fight!!

It's never forgotten.
its written quick.

LIfe story


As we grow up, we learn that even the one person
that
wasn't supposed to ever let you down probably
will. You
will have your heart broken probably more than
once and it's harder every time. You'll break hearts too,
so
remember how it felt when yours was broken.
You'll fight
with your best friend. You'll blame a new love
for things
an old one did. You'll cry because time is
passing too fast,
and you'll eventually lose someone you love. So
take too
many pictures, laugh too much, and love like
you've never
been hurt because every sixty seconds you spend
upset
is a minute of happiness you'll never get back.
Don't be
afraid that your life will end, be afraid that it
will never begin.

Very good poetry, I had a couple pieces published when i was in fourth grade but I was really too young to even understand where the words came from that i put on the page. Seemed that others like em' though very curious art is, really the only way for some of us to express ourselves. Some people have paint, others numbers, for us words

 

Clean up the spelling mistakes, for some people like me i get hung up on spelling errors and it takes me away from the main point. Also check up on grammar rules and use of there , their , they're..

But really keep writing, if writing makes you happy who gives a fuck what other people say or think, keep writing.

 

I never really liked poems but imo the first one is best.

I love writing poems.
I've written quite a few in my life , they come kind of naturally, i find it nice to get my feelings out there.
Most were written while I was depressed however so they have a sad meaning which kind of takes away from the poem I think,
but now I've written some happier ones and I may start again
Very nice poems...
