    Allocating more memory to Minecraft?

I've been getting memory issues out the ass lately and I watched a video Here that was a tut on how to allocate more memory when I followed his exact steps it gave me this:

"'javaw' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program, or batch file."

Does anybody know how to fix this?

    Thanks in advance
    -Ben

(I also posted this in the minecraft section but that forum seems to get very very little traffic so I thought I would also post here)
