How safe are bank transfers?

I'm thinking about adding this payment method to my gold shop..


I'm from canada too.

Also how long does the payment takes to get here.

 

Bank transfers are irreversible (except in the case Wernis mentions below) once they are complete. Payment normally take 2-3 days I believe. Canada also has a pretty good, inexpensive system for bank transfers.

They are reversable if the bank account is stolen and police is contacted. But the people who do that don't buy gold, so you are like 100% safe when accepting bank transfers.

 

If it's interac, you're pretty much golden.

 

I think it's one of the safest methods other than like person to person cash trade.
