On Gravite Weaps in F2P

Hello I was thinking about upgrading my lv 40 def rune pure to a Gravite pker. I already got the 45 attack and i'm 40 def. My questions are:

Assuming I have 99 Range/99 Str, should I pvp with Maple Short + G2H K0? Or would g rapier + g 2H get me more k0es?

- would Gravite shortbow plus g2H be a better combo than maple short or g rapier

- I want to STAY at 40 def so would using gravite weapons put me at risk in getting defence exp? I am currently 800exp away from 41 def and I would like to avoid that.

Would I be at risk getting def exp using gravite weaps? How can I avoid accidently getting 41 def?

Are gravite pkers with 40 def better than 1 def gravite pkers??

People don't use 2 gravite weapons while pvping. Unless you plan on either never dying (unlikely) or getting a LOT of dungeon tokens.

 

Well i'm willing to risk a g2h at edge pking because Im gonna get tons of kills and it won't matter if I lose it. I'll just bot the tokens back.

Also, will getting my dung level up in the dugeons risk me getting def exp?

 

Both great combos but you are usually going to fight other players in armor so I recommend Rapier + G2H.

 

You could just bring like 50k and trade people and tell them your not skulling

 

You should get 40 defence if youre not gonna become mem... helps a lot

 

Getting 99 range is pretty pointless on a f2p pure, because since you only have 45 Attack, range will add combat levels to you, and not to mention range absolutely fails in f2p.

 

Dont get ranged up at all. 45 att (high) str 40 def will work fine.

As for botting tokens, start the bot in the aggressive stance and turn ON pure mode and OFF style swap so that it never changes the stance. You won't get def or attack exp that way.

Agree with this.

Low defense in F2P sucks, because a lot of tank noobs who eat ar 50hp when they have max 65hp. That is why I have not PKed in F2P few years.

 

i would say maple or gravite shortbow + g2h since ur 99 range

 

I can tell you that G2H is beast, and is faster than any other 2H, so it's great for range + KO combo.

I'm not sure on the gravite shortbow. I doubt it's worth getting though.

I already got 99 range, I have 70 Str, so I need to bot tons of zeals in order to get fast 99 str. I need range because in p2p, I will be able to own with Venge + D bolts (e)

I'm going to be a balanced f2p/p2p rune pure.

I don't think having range in f2p would hurt me because range is what gives you those hp levels. I disagree that range is useless in f2p because it's not RANGE that gives you extra cmb levels, it's the extra HP exp that is giving you the extra hp levels.

I think range + g2h would be more insidious than rapier + g2h because they won't know what hit them. Both combos are amazing though.

I also got 49 attack instead of 45 because I didn't gain any extra cmb levels. 49 attack is okay, right? If I got 50 attack, I would get an extra cmb level.

Uhm, not really. Range is not that bad in F2P.
