- Betting Section -

Hello, sythe community what do you think of this? I'm assuming it's aloud due to Ive seen a few of these made now by pockets ECT, and I think they pretty amazing I would rather bet playing Poker & other games then staking then staking. I think it would be a pretty active section and a fun section to use, we could get OMMs to host them if needed well this is just an idea please post your feedback.

For people saying if they see more threads made then they would support

support or not support if u would or wouldn't vist the section because not meny threads are going to be made on this without an official section as there's not a place for these threads to be held so not everyone will know they exists.

 

Support! Currently there isn't really anywhere on Sythe for betting threads (I only included mine in minigames and pking because runelink is a minigame in RS).

I was actually going to open another betting thread in a few days after my donation gets processed and it would be great to have somewhere to put it where it clearly fits.

 

Use the spam forum for games that aren't related to funorb/runescape for now.

 

Thats not a great solution though. I support this idea.

 

I think going to clans, which there are many that you can find on sythe, would probably be an easier way to do this, or possibly an "official" sythe betting team.

 

Well dicing has its own section, and other "betting" games really haven't been shown as a point of interest on sythe. So, no support.

 

Until I see a good amount of "betting" threads, I am not going to support this.

 

What about community general for now? Because it is a general community activity.

Also, thank you for leaving my thread intact for what I assume was the reasons above.

 

Trying to find 1 person to have bet on a game with you should go to the spam forum for now and tournaments should go to the community general.

 

I would support this, but I think these pots should involve a middle man if the particpants are smart. To review the results and that MM would take a cetain percentage of the pot since he MMed the competition. Then that poses many more problems.

No support until the betting side of the community is fleshed out a little better.

 

I would be very interested in this. Especially sports betting and stuff.

 

Betting on the outcome of real sport games for RSGP would be great fun!

U should mabe look around different sections before posting that comment a fee people have been betting RS gold agents connect four & poker ECT and also staff have been hosting tournaments which is a form of betting why has as bets to do with rs have to be luck why not add some skill.

 

Since seeing this is mini-games section I seen a very good response from the community.

 

There are not many bettings yet, but if it starts to boost up I'd support.

 

Okey meny people keep saying this but if everyone says this but, the point is saying this is I'f there was a section you would use it and how are u going to see meny people betting if there's not an official section for it.

 

Well for one there are no regulations on betting, no rules, or overviews. There isn't any apparent interest yet, besides those few who make the threads.

 

Support Cosrob, Don't think a new section would be a great idea atm, + OMM's r busy as it is adding another responsibility will be overloading...and the betting idea wont work without a trusted MM cuz everyone will just lose and not pay.
