I'd have thought it would be a lot more expensive. If I'm honest though, after a year of reading the Metro newspaper every day on the way to college, I've learnt to take everything they report with a pinch of salt.

 

I think that Domino's pizza doesn't have enough budget plus it wont pay off easily!!

This seems pretty far down the line since moon vacations aren't exactly the norm yet but props to them for thinking of the future! I for one wouldn't mind a moon palace.

I honestly don't see this happening.. Maybe once people start to populate the moon, sure. But not now, it wouldn't make any sense.

This obviously isn't serious, and even if they were, wouldn't be considered until the moon was populated. At that point, revenue is not a concern because of the astronomical amount of advertising a move like that would create.

 

I don't listen to anything the Metro says. All a ton of bs.

I wonder if they realize, by populating the moon, you're increasing it's weight, and since it's already shifting from it's normal pattern every so minutely every year...... putting pizza chains all over the surface isn't going to help much

 

The moon is moving away from Earth, not closer to it. Increasing the mass of the moon by transporting materials there would have an astronomically small effect but even so, any material that is put on the moon is taken from Earth. Whatever mass the Earth loses in this process, the moon gains. Everything stays equal. It won't have an effect on the gravitational forces binding the moon to Earth.

 

This has to be a joke. There is no way that many people would agree to something so retarded. There have only been 12 people walk on the moon, so I don't understand why the hell they would even consider it. Why would anyone want to live on the moon anyways?

 

Guess I have to learn how to make my own ship now. Lol its a space pit stop.
Truly this has to be a joke. I mean there isn't any life forms on the moon yet.
