Is this type of thread allowed?

I always see these threads in Runescape General, etc. of people "giving away my account! post here why YOU should get it!"

Are these threads allowed? It's annoying seeing one every day pop up and no one ends up getting an account/it's a scam.

 

I'm pretty sure that isn't allowed. Not positive, however.

 

I don't think so...I remember mods locked threads like these, but, I submitted a failed story anyways just incase if he decides a winner before the threads gets closed...LOL.

Basically this. If you see a thread like that, either PM a moderator, or report the thread.

 

I checked the rules thread and competition threads wasn't on the list so I didn't close it. I'll guess add it now.

 

Any type of account giveaway isn't allowed, that one was just in a shape of a competition.

 

There was nothing about give aways on the list... Anyways, I just added it.
