You best rewards from revs?

Hey guys. So I went to forinthry dungeon last night with a buddy to do some rev hunting. We found a great world where we were with a few other guys and no interruptions from PKers for nearly 2 hours. However, we left empty handed

I've only been to revs 5 or 6 times and I personally have never, ever recieved any drops other than coins, even after hours of grinding there. I have tons of friends who do rev trips quite often and make tons of profit, one of my friends has even got a VLS after one casual trip to revs one afternoon. What is some of your better loots there? and any tips on which revenants to kill in order to get better loot?

Just incase anybody is wondering - I am lvl 114 combat in wildy, with 99 str, range and magic, so killing the revs is no problem for me. I guess I have just been unlucky :noworry:

 

I soulsplit, turmoil, super set and rapier them. Also use a salve amulet (e) because they're undead. People say that if you use jenica's ring (Or whatever, the one from the spirit of summer) then you get better drops from revs.
Personally I've only ever gotten a corrupt zuriels staff, but my friend went there when he got cleaned and made 80m in 2 days. Never seen brawlers from there though.

 

I don't have curses yet but I'm working towards the quest requirements as I got turm almost full banked and want to get on that asap. I have piety though, and I usually bring ags as I don't have any dung weapons either. It seems most people around my CB level use a rapier or maul and and it completely crushes the revs.

Also, a friend of mine was going to revs nightly with his buddy that had Jenica's ring and they were getting drops left right and center.. I think they were just getting lucky though. Because after going there with him last night he seemed pretty bummed that we spent 2 hours there and didn't get anything, as he was getting atleast 1-2 drops a night with his other friend. I'm going to try going again tonight and see if I have any more luck

Thanks for the Salve amulet tip btw! I hadn't even thought of that.. I was just bringing a glory amulet so I could tele to edge and bank quickly.

 

Bet I got was a couple of rune items. Otherwise didn't get anything from them really special. Killed alot of them as well.

 

I looked up the list of possible drops you can get and they drop ALOT of shit. Doesn't make sense to me that I have only ever recieved coins

 

I have gotten tons of drops, best being SWH. But last night I was there and it was weird, back to back I got first Zuriels Staff, next kill, Corrupt Zuriels Staff, was weird stuffs.

 

J ring does help more than wealth, 1h and I normally make a item, only one empty handed trip out of 50.

 

I got a corrupt dragon scimitar in about 10 kills, but didn't get anything for next few hours, after that I haven't gone back.

 

What are the requirements to get this ring? I usually bring wealth and it hasn't seemed to help at all tbh... I would like to try out Jenica's ring.

 

From what I have heard, the J Ring doesn't help with the PVP drops from Revs, just like Rune Items and other "normal" drops that they had before they had PVP drops added to drop table. But who knows, it is hard to know for sure.

 

ive never gotten anything other then coins from revs, but i did drop some wannabe pker for his claws once. that was a good day.
