    Discounted membership?
    For some odd reason my membership on my main is cheaper, any ideas why?

    I just looked again at other payment methods and realised all my payment methods are discounted from the regular prices? What the hell.

    just count yourself lucky :p it could be because you used a mobile phone for one, they are more expensive

    *facepalms* I clicked on the wrong section this this was general discussion in the runescape section and no, this is price before you even ring and you no longer have to put in a number.

    Maybe it's because the account is really old and it gets special priveliges? Can't really be the payment method since other accounts has different price...

    Lol I'm surprised no one answered this. Before Jagex raised the price of members ($5 USD to $5.95, not sure what it is in pounds but I know for sure there was an increase), they gave users two weeks to sign up for members at the old price. If you were subscribed from back then and continued your subscription, you would still pay the old, lower price.

    No one realizes? Gosh, you people know nothing about Jagex's billing policies :p

    OP:
    If you subscribe for more than 12 consecutive months without a break lasting longer than 14 days each, then you will receive discounted "loyalty rate" after that. If you do "break" longer than 14 days after the "rate" is applied, the "rate" goes back to its original "rate". If a break >14 days happens before the "rate" is applied, the counter counting the consecutive months resets.

    This policy has been in here for many years, so inb4someonesaysJagextoogreedy.
