World 66 Riot

Hey guys, if you haven't already heard, there's a riot going on in world 66 in Falador. What do you guys think will be the outcome of this protest and are any of you guys participating in it? I've also heard Jagex is going to shit and that Runescape may die soon, is there a reason why? Do you guys think Runescape will get shut down soon? Thanks for your thoughts.

 

Going to go throw some e-chairs into some e-windows? Break lots of pixels? It's a joke.

 

Of course Runescape will die.... right along with the rest of us in 2012!

 

Lol, I can't see how protesting in game would work. Only a real protest working online would be if everybody cancelled there membership and played F2P

Or go to there HQ and start some rioting!

There are many threads about the end of Runescape, but no good evidence. We can rely only on massive amounts of bots. Keeping in mind, that Jagex never earned so much cash from memberships, we can be sure, that runescape will exist atleast for some more time.

 

Does anyone know if any rioting is going on in any F2P worlds?
If so, please let me know, I'd like to join

It's ironic, the world we live in, isn't it.

 

I doubt rs is dieing to some it may seem like it but I'm pretty sure they have more subscriptions then ever considering the amount of gold farming bots there are in p2p.

 

They're rioting in a game that they're paying for. Jagex doesn't care, and I doubt anything will change.

 

If you say anything about it in-game you get muted or kicked from clanchat

 

It's so weird man. First you hate botting, then you love it and feel like you wasted time before. Now a few months pass and then you start hating bots because there are too many. Endless cycle >_<

 

A riot? Pfft...

Let's be serious, what damage can really be done? Buying all the items from the general store? Planting flowers everywhere? Killing all monsters?

 

I don't get what they're rioting about. Also, I think there's another thread with a picture for this.

 

Just found out about it, im going to check it out i havnt seen a riot in years

 

Next up for jagex is probably its own gold shop
