As a legitimate Runescape player, I can't be too butthurt about Jacmob's decisions to abandon RSBuddy and sell out the whole community...

But I still think he is a little queer faggot for doing this to all these people, and for his cocky, holier-than-thou attitude. It seems to me that he holds himself on a pedestal as the worlds greatest programmers. Wake up kid!

As for RSBuddy, I will probably pop by from time to time just to keep on top of the news, but I can hardly see myself using them as a legitimate fansite in the future. No thanks.

 

Complete sell out. He probably made an absurd amount of money from it though.

 

Jagex announced that they would over look the previous community as long as they stay good, basically.

I heard someone say Mod Timbo? Or something like that claimed they had not hired him, and that his claim about going to work for jagex is untrue.


EDIT: Anyone have any information on which site RSB is pressing charges on? (Jacmob claimed they were doing so.)

lol rsbuddy banned my ip address because i was making accounts like british fag jacmob or british twat jacmob so i cant read the announcements on the site but it sounds like once again a load of shit coming from somebody who things hes got talent beyond all who walk the earth. look at his recent posts all of them speak for themselves. fuck that website. sooner or later another bot site will come and rsbuddy will look like the load it always has been. i feel sorry for all of the people who bought scripts before the 7 day return period. if they even refunded everyone in that 7 days. im glad my abyss rcers wouldnt have been completed until the end of the month, or i would have wasted money on quite a few rc scripts. i laughed when i read he doesnt support gold farming. if what he said was true then why didnt he put a end to it a long time ago, and all he said was he would put an end to it in the future. shoulda called him JACMEOFF

Everyday there is less and less people visiting rsbuddy. Just after the bot nuke i remember there was 1k+ viewing in the announcements section now look and there is like 15

This guy is fucking right on the dot! This whole situation wouldn't even be nearly as bad if Jacmob hadn't led everybody on for weeks claiming that botting in Runescape would continue, and putting a timer on the home page of RSBuddy to make a big deal over it. Like I have said countless times, I am a legitimate player and if anything this whole ordeal affects me positively in my RS gameplay.... but that still would not stop me from knocking Jacmob out if I ever came across him in real life. I'll bet hes a little fruit cake in real life and doesn't hold himself in such high regard when he is away from his computer.

 

Hilarious that you guys flame jacmob because you can't cheat a game :idea: if you don't like a bit of grind, then mmo's aren't your game, so quit.

 

Okay first off, RSBuddy if anybody is the least talented half-assed bot programmers and programmers in general. They came after the major clients and Piggy backed off of the true, talented, and comitted programmers that were into the community. RSBuddy stop while you still have a small little chunk of dignity left.

 

It's funny seeing how riled up some people are. Jacmob is doing a nice job of ruining the morale of would-be botters everywhere.

 

Yeah I don't see where he gets off thinking he is some amazing programmer. Botting was there before him and it will be long after.
