Donation prices.

I think .35/ is a lil bit low, this should be removed back to .40/ atleast.
Opinions, and is this denied before?

 

They have to take lower than the bulk buying price because the market is very vulnerable and prices drop fast, so the gold accepted now, could be sold in a week, when the prices are even lower than today's.

 

But it does backdown people from donating, isn't that something bad?

 

You could always sell the gp for whatever price you want and then donate the cash. or if you really cant mail it, have someone do it on your behalf.

 

FireZ is buying your RSGP. He can buy at whatever price he wants.

Look, they can't take 500M now for a price of .45 each and then sell it at .40

They have a huge stock of what they've accepted and unless it was sold the same day, it would be a high risk to accept it at market price. So they take it a lower than the market price. And also generates profit to the person who is taking it, which is contributing to the community in a huge way.

Firez isn't sythe, Firez merely accepts the gold, then gives the money to Sythe. So this is more of at his discretion than the website itself. - As far as I know

 

I set gp prices to whatever is easy for me to get rid of it at. I can't hold gp forever or otherwise donations wouldn't be able to go on. If the market improves I will move the price up accordingly. Also I can take WU anytime since Matthew isn't accepting it atm and credit you the equal amount in gp.

FireZ should have the right of setting the donation price at whatever he chooses for a variety of reasons.

First, he should be compensated for the time and energy he puts into the project, even if it is a small amount. Second, anyone can donate money through the other options available. Finally, FireZ' main priority is to reconvert the gp into money so that the donation process can continue in a smooth circle without any hitches.

As has been previously said, sell your gold and donate in another manner if you don't like the price.
