Signature Seperation Help (Very Easy Fix just oblivious)

Alright So I made the signature it is transparent,
I forgot how to seperate the picture so I can start to hotlink it.

Last time I thought I used paint for seperating the picture but doesn't seem to be working for me.


Help I need:
Please explain to me how I can seperate the picture easily, and keep in mind it all needs to go back together perfectly for when it becomes my signature =P
Also which program to use to do it, and what format to save it in.

 

You have to use the selection tool;



Like that ^ and copy it, then create a new image (Crtl+N) and paste it in, you have to do this for each image.
