PayPal ChargeBack Threat Issue.

OK I'm going to cut a long story short;
I will explain EXACTLY what happened.

1. Me & my friend discussed an account he was interested in
buying from me, we talked it through on MSN.

2. My friend agreed he will purchase the account, and
he will go first; paying via PayPal.

3. So once I received the payment, I handed him the account
& recovery details.

4. Exactly 4 hours later I receive an email from PayPal
saying they're investigating a payment reversal & and my account
is limited until they hear from me. Payment reversal AKA this idiot
is attempting to chargeback on me.

5. HOWEVER I didn't take any risks for chargebacks,
and I transferred the money that my stupid friend payed me
onto another one of my PayPal accounts, this was before my friend
filed a case against me.

6. NOW what worries me is that the account I transferred the money
wont be safe after the 7 days the investigation is over.

---NOTES----
My original PayPal account has now gone to minus after PayPal locked
it, so will the account I transferred money to still be safe?... when the
investigation is over??

 

The money will be retracted from both accounts I believe, in almost all cases they find it favour of the buyer.

I got scammed $22 via PP yesterday. If you leave an account with negative balance you will be contacted by PayPal to discuss your debt.

I would just recover the account.

Well straight up, he isnt your friend afterall.
I suggest making sure it was him who filed a charge back, if so, recover your account as quickly as possible and change details.

Ehh, usually the money is brought back off of any account it has been transferred to. This is quite bullshit, they should make an option where there is no way to chargeback/ signing/ photo I.D from registering...

I sold the account for $60, therefore my original account has now -$60
because PayPal has my account locked down,
BTW what do you guys mean by recovering the account?

The original account has no credit card or bank account attached to
it... so would the money be retracted from both the original account (locked)
and the account I transferred the $60 to?
