Since you already have the stats, use a whip/maul/dds. Honestly, the Rapier isn't worth it over Maul if you are okay with risking a whip. You should Veng w/ DDS spec then finish with Maul. Speaking from experience, it's amazing. <3.

 

Agreed, the maul is one of the best chaotic's I must say. Although it is slow, the hits make up for it. Especially when you do Chaotic Maul to Double G-Maul specs(Instant Ko) Kinda funny, because people think it's a glitch because they G-Maul movement's are quick.

One problem that you can run into with the maul is basically KO'ing yourself (you hit high hit, causing them to be able to venge combo you easily).

I can't really speak from your perspective because I have only PK'ed on my main since Dung has came out, but on my main I have wrecked every DM I have been in where I am using Rapier, except when I have fought against Primal Maul.

Maul is very slow, but it does have the enormous chance of getting big hits. The KO potential is very great, but like I said above that can also be your enemy if they venge combo you at the right time.

Another thing you will have to think about is how many people are going to fight you when you are using Primal Maul? And out of all those people that fight you, how many people are going to tab out early or run away because you keep hitting such massive hits?

I dunno maybe I am thinking too much about this.

I guess if you have access to a Dwarven Helm (quest required but I think you can do it without it affecting your acc?), I would go with maul.

The reason I say get Dwarven Helm is that it is the only helm in game that gives a crush bonus, and I notice a massive difference in accuracy when using it. You should rape opponents out of the water.

 

You combo with the Maul, don't primary with it. Whip/defender, then when you veng take off your armour and switch to the maul. Finish w/ GMaul or a DDS.

 

Rapier, I think its FAR better, because its more of a primary weapon, while the maul is usually used as a combo with a spec.. such as maul to gmaul...

And.. well.. I just think rapier owns maul I'll edit this post in 2 days when i get a maul so i can compare to rapier vs. maul

 

trust me maul... i got a rapier and i use to pk a lot with a whip and when i took out rapier pking it was horrible especially if you fight barrow pures. and dont say its my bad account cause i got 90 attack 99 strength and turm.
but rapier is really good for slayer tasks.. i give it that

Can I say it's because your acc isn't 99 Attack? That's the only thing I can see that might ruin your accuracy, because especially with Turmoil you should be tearing it up.

If you have a nice crush bonus, you will have consistently high hits with Maul as well.

 

You have iDungeon, start off with Chaotic Raiper, then run it for another 4 days, get a Chaotic Maul.

Since you have 94 hp, I suggest you just get the maul. You'll rarely get KO'd by vengeance. Also, you can use the maul as a primary with dds/gmaul for spec, since you aren't comfortable risking a whip.

 

On my Turm Zerker I loved my Choatic Maul, I'd easily hit above 500 for epic Veng combos. However the rapier is also a great weapon, especially Rapier to Korasi's. In my opinion you can't go wrong getting a Chaotic, and at 80 Dungeon using iDung it'll take you a little over a week to get to 87.

 

Maul is really fun to pk with, I would choose that if you want to pk all the time.
