General questions for knowledgeable people.

Hey, I've got a few questions.

1. I botted 97 strength through soul wars last year. I'm guessing I'm safe now (I haven't played in a while,) but could it come back to bite me? Also, can I re-retrieve the bot I used? The bot I used was on my old computer, and the hard drive fried. I bought it off of RSbots I believe. It was AutoSoulWars Pro. Anyone know if it still works and/or is still updated?

2. Is it safe just to buy gold and trade it straight these days? I want to deck out my main while it's so cheap to get good gear. (I remember buying mills at 7$ per mill before trade changes.)

3. I don't have a credit card/bank account and I'm only 17, what's a good method for buying gold/making transactions for someone like me?

1) Soul Wars is alright and yes if you want your old auth back then email Impsoft support.

2) Yes it is, Jagex can't tell if friends are trading or gold sellers are.

3) Buy prepaid cards at the store and use them online.

 

Do you mean to buy gift cards for people and use that as a payment method for black market purchases? I don't quite understand what you mean.

No buy the prepaid visa cards that look like credit cards, then you can use that on PayPal or a website.

 

What Tckr said is pretty good.

The only thing that I can think of adding would be to check the stickies on what the best GUI settings should be for SW.

They may have changed since you last used the bot.

Soulwars Pro Does still work, but the ban rate is fairly high, and NO, you will not get banned.. after about 3 months, your safe.

Yes, it is safe to buy gold through direct trading.

Visa gift-gards, or moneypak and put it into paypal.

Just one reassurance question now, if I buy gold should I just get the gold traded right on to my main? Or should I use a trash account and drop trade it over just in case?

 

It would be about the same ban rate for both, do whatever you wish.

But, drop trading is far more riskier especially with large amounts of gold (25 - 50M+) because so many bad things can happen, such as internet connectivity problems, interception, etc... It would be worth the ban risk to multi-log in if drop trading were to be avoided.

I'd suggest you just RWT with the main, it saves time and the ban rate is practically 0 because Jagex can't prove that it was RWT and player reports are off.
