New rule - pm on sythe.org before trade

I just say 2 good reasons:

1. Imposters - active members know that they have to search every msn they are trading with on google and check if they are not imposters , banned etc.. and also they usually send you pm on sythe to verify it is you.

However new members are not very skillfully in trading . They know that buying from legit sellers is not very riskly. However most of them do not know about imposters. They just basicly trade with anyone whose msn seems to be seller's.
And these rule will for sure helps here.

2. Hackers - some people on sythe get keylogged and in most cases its their fall ,because they don have good a/w ,firewall settings or they download untrustable things. However there are also others - who got hacked their msn without being keylogged. Yes there are ways and I know about one person who was vicitim. Also here we could include acc sales ,where in most cases seller gives password that he has set on his msn as one of old sale account passwords to buyer. Yes its seller mistake ,but who would thought about it? Yes always have different password on msn/sythe/other sites... . Avoiding hackers will only works ,if user was not keylogged or has not same pass on msn/fb/e-mail/sythe etc.. . Other good way which could help is to add IP login filtering sth like Facebook. So when you login from different IP location as your last logins, your account will be locked until you unlock it with answerin recorvery questions. With PM rule this would avoid at least 10-15% of scams on blackmarket.

I got scammed for 50$ because I took an offer that was too good to be true, I agree with you.

 

It's basically common sense to do this already, and I've done no trades here and I already know that. No need to make it a rule, just use your head before trading.

 

Shouldn't be a rule, but it should be something everyone does.

 

This, by getting a PM you are talking to the right person and if they do scam you then you can get them banned easier. It shouldn't be a rule, this would be like suggesting you use a MM for every trade.

 

It's common sense to get a PM beforehand anyways. Shouldn't be a rule. What's the consequences? Getting scammed? That's the same if it wasn't a rule. If you got infracted for not getting a PM, well...that's just stupid.

 

And what, give infractions to people who don't request a PM? You can't require something like that - it is already in the user's interest to request a pm, and if they fail to do so (or decide not to do so), that's their decision.

Anyway, requiring that traders PM each other implies that users would have to register to use the market. Which will not happen.
