Reminisce

Hey Guys,
I'm kinda bored, so wanted to start a new thread. Basically, the point of this thread is for you all to talk about "nooby" things that you used to do back when you freaked out when someone gave you 10k coins.
I'll start:
I used to fish lobbies extremely slowly in Karamja, beg for a fire, and cook until I got a full inventory of food, which I then used at the lesser demons, hoping to get a rune med helm.

 

Someone gave me full Iron and I thought I had the best armor in the game

 

I was extremely excited in 2001 when I figured out the map of runescape and how to get from Lumby to Falador. (this was back when there was only Lumby, Falador, Varrock, and Al Kharid and the smaller villages.)

I was also so stoked to have both mith legs AND full helm, but I was still using a steel plate because I couldnt afford a myth one.

 

Two events for me:
1. I kept on making new accounts because I didn't know there was a bank and kept dying from lvl 5 goblins.
2.I saved up 1k from killing goblins and from the ground to finally buy the ultimate weapon...a fire staff

 

When I first started, I'd see someone in full rune, and harrass them for money.

 

Looting to 20k from the stronghold and dying on the way to bank it in varrock. I thought I would never get the money bak :L

i remember fishing on the karajama docks and begging for fires too

 

Made lots of accounts and did the stronghold and got 20k on each then traded to one account

 

I remember when i bought my first mith battleaxe after killing goblins for an hour to get 1k, lets just say i had to change my underwear i was so excited.

 

I remember getting full black and thinking I had the rarest item in the game.

 

i freaked out when i saw a level 30 thinking, " i hope one day ill be that high level"

and back in '02 when i'd played the game for about 2 weeks some random level 100 gave me a rune pickaxe and i flipped out.

 

My friend told me he knew out his head how to get from lumby to varrock;;
and i was like i always travel with my newcomers map.


And the black knight at varrock lvl (35)
i always feared him. hoping i wud someday past his level.

also died and lost my colorful boots and went without it for months untill someone told me I could get them again.

 

Thinking wc was the best way to make money.
Want a sara plate? Better chop like 4k yews.
I remember telling a friend IRL that him and I should pool money for a sara set.

 

I finally saved enough to buy the original magic staff (black orb), and some asshole scammed me, telling me he would upgrade it.

 

Lol I used to tell ppl to drop there stuff and dupe it by pressing Alt+F4 =p

 

Another thing I used to do was offer up X amount of Bbones, then quickly switch them to normal bones, as the person was offering up money. The greatest amount I made was 300k, and I was so happy that I called my friend up and we got excited together. I then tried this on a player mod, thinking if i got caught, I would log off immediately..... Didn't work out so welll..... haha

 

Mining rune essence untill i could afford glorious fully addy and a rune scimmy, then me and my friend use to lure others into the wildy and atempt to own them, rarely worked out well for us, normally got killed by people wearing just robes and hit really big (never knew what a pure was then) and back to mining essence i went

I also spent a bit of time at karajama fishing and killing lessers

 

I started back in about 2004, first account: noob " main " stats (about everything 25.. I was merchanting for life and bought my first expensive item: Black kiteshield (g)!!!!! Was showing it off, and went to the wild. BOOM died and lost it. I cried in real life: no lies.
