    Building a custom PC

I didn't mean to come across sounding as a douche. That being said, sound cards aren't really audiophile. They help improve almost regardless of the quality of your headphones and speakers. And when you start spending even $100-$200 on audio, sound cards will really make a difference.
I did share my dream PC build. Kill Dank decided to start a flamewar with me, and once he realized he can't win he gave up. But it's all good now.

Most people only use a pair of shitty logitechs and stuff though so sound cards aren't worth it.
If I got a nice set of 2.0s I def would get a soundcard.
But a soundcard wouldn't be on the top of my list.

Just shut the fuck up, you didn't win. You can't argue with idiots. And you started the flaming by calling everyone noobs IN YOUR FIRST POST. I thought we established that.

I agree with you on that. It doesn't improve performance on anything and is just an unnecessary expense as far as building a computer. But if you can afford nice speakers or surround, it shouldn't be that big of a deal to install one.

I never said I won, calm down brah, besides, for the record I am winning. No need to get so upset over it, too late though. And you are right, I cannot argue with idiots, which is why arguing with you is such a chore. No need to start hardcore raging 2 days in a row. Anyway, it does reduce CPU usage. Unnecessary expense? Now you are just saying bullshit. Especially when you are listing builds that are between 10 and 20 thousand dollars. Just remember what you said! Or do I need to remind you?

    Lol yeah umad.

It actually takes a tiny bit of load off the CPU(like 1%), and does improve sound quality, but wouldn't be worth it with a pair of shit speakers/headphones..

Depends on the person honestly. I hate LEDs, I love the plain simple LianLi, corsair, fractal cases. Sleek and plain.

Windows I'd be fine with if the interior was nice(black interior with nicely sleeved cables + nice cable management).
LEDs though, ugh they annoy me. My modem pisses me off enough. ._.

Why do I have the feeling you only posted that for the post count. :/

Very nice, only a 5770 though? I tbh would have went more with a 460 or stronger.

The RAM, GPU, and HDD are fairly poor in that...I'm assuming he just went to a site like dell.com customized his own then just copied&pasted.

It's got a thermaltake case, so nope.
Didn't see the HDD, I only skimmed across cos I was on my iPod.
Rams fine, 4gig is fine, just 8gig is cheap enough so why bother with 4.
GPU is only mid range so it's not poor, it can still max/high setting a lot of games.

HDD is fairly slow...and the RAM is clocked @665mhz...which IMO is a joke.

My RAM is 1333mhz and in programs such as speccy it displays at 667mhz. I'm pretty sure there's a good reason for it (Especially since it's exactly half :p)

EDIT: I'd also like to say, for those of you thinking of building a PC in the near future, go SSD or go home.

Got it off Tigerdirect. Several of the parts came in a barebones package, hence the slower HDD. I spent around $820 on the whole thing, including a 23" Samsung monitor. The RAM reading is incorrect, as mentioned above... do you seriously think that any modern RAM would ship at 667 Mhz? I'll probably get another 4GB stick soon, then eventually upgrade to12 or 16 GB.
Edit: On my budget, SSD isn't an option, not really worth $100 to me for one that I can only use as an OS drive anyways. Heading off to college in the fall, so I'll have plenty of other ways to spend the money.

Nice processor choice bro. Probably the best one out atm for the price tag it has. I bought the same one.
    Plan to overclock it?
