I am assuming this is a troll attempt. Jagex does not email you about that type of thing. Obvious phish attempt dont fall for it.

They get your email, by searching forums like this looking for buyers/sellers or just people which post their MSN and then hope they click the link.

JaGeX does NOT use the term "infraction". Also, I'm assuming the link took you straight to a log in? If you actually logged in, change your password and you should be fine because these usually just copy keystrokes you type on that site only, and not anywhere else.

 

I hope to god you didn't follow that link.

So therefore there isn't much point in showing it.

There is a hidden link though when you hover your cursor over the link, check the bottom left-hand corner and something will be different.
