'Verified user sales section'

Ok, so I've been thinking of a way to implement a way for users to feel more comfortable trading without trawling through the forums looking for trusted users to buy/sell to.

This may be a long shot, but this 'section' could save a lot of hassle and frustration on the sales side of things.

This could/would be implemented by recruiting a group of members that would dedicate themselves to processing/looking through user information submitted by users wanting to be a 'verified user'

To become 'verified' they'd have to provide proof of their vouches, sales reputation, I.D (for the purpose of proving that their bank/what ever else they use to purchase items/recieve payments with is theirs)

They will earn the rights to submit a thread into the 'verified user sales' section, and have a user title of sythe's staff choice, I'd suggest something simple like; 'verified'

Well, that's the short of it please don't flame me for this idea I'd appreciate feedback/support.

As i said It's most probably a long shot, but I personally think It's worth suggesting.

This would just create false trust, new coming members would strive for "verified" only to scam. Most of the time a decent judgement can decide who you can trust; I do not see a need for this. No support

 

There would be obvious requirements similar to becoming an OMM, or obtaining any other user title. So it'd hardly create false trust.

 

People that can achieve a rank such as OMM do no need to be "verified". These people are well known, and there threads stand out just by the amount of post on it. If the requirements are low, low post count scammers will try to get it. If it is high there will be no need, because that member will already be well known and stand out. I have seen this denied a few times before, I doubt this one will go though. It is a good idea, but serves little to no purpose.
