Need Some Help With Account Trading!

Hello everyone! Will I decided to start playing Runescape again, unfortunately I sold my old pure so I'll have to buy a new one to start Pking again. I just have some questions about account trading. I've been scammed out of 2 accounts and don't want to take anymore chances. When I buy the pure I want to use an OMM and do a recovery test. I just want to know a few things...

    - How do you do a recovery test?
    - Is a recovery test w/ an OMM a failsafe way of not getting scammed of the account?

That's generally all I have to ask. Although any other information you may have would be greatly appreciated. Thanks everyone!

From what I know, the seller gives the OMM the details to recover it (like membership info, recovery questions, personal details etc.). And the OMM (just to be safe that the account doesn't get immediatly locked) would use teamviewer and connect to the sellers computer, he would then carry out the recovery test. If it succeeds, the OMM would have recovered the account and be the only one to (at that point) know the password to the account.

    - Is a recovery test w/ an OMM a failsafe way of not getting scammed of the account?

Not really a failsafe. Because if the person still has their original ip of which they created the account from, they can recover it 5-6 years down the line easily. But atleast if you know the recovery questions, you may be able to recover it back and it could end up as a tug a war on recovering.

My advice is; accounts is always a dodgy business, buy from someone you feel is extremely trusted, thats the only way, since your trusting someone "not to recover it ever".
