Why do I fail mageboxing

1 def 86 hp 52 prayer 4 sum, 99 magic, 76 combat, i stake arround 70-83 and it seems like i loose a lot and dont hit for shit, ive lost so many mills at the duel arena, i dont even stake big, i just loose all the time...

I do shadow barrage then blood barrage, any tips...?

 

Try using blitz unless you are really down. Blitz doesn't hit as high, but it is more accurate than barrage due to the lower magic requirement.

 

Prayer/summoning = not good when staking.
Make this a main & bot a new acc to stake on.
Make it 94-99 mage, 92-99 hp & 60+ defence. No pray or summoning.

 

Probably because you are not unique, everybody is like you. Get 99hp and 99 def for the best mage boxing results, if you don't want def, get 90+hp and start staking again.

 

Def = win.

 

yah your losing cuz your prob Vsing people higher def then you and your suppose to shadow barrge then blood when ur low hp blood blitz always works for me its a life safer

 

mageboxing needs 3 skills, hitpoints, magic and defense, defense is for like splashing (other player splashes lol ) erm, i do mage boxing, i make 50m-100m weekly, i have 99def 99mage 94hp, im mad and erm i would suggest using smoke barrage to posion then carry on with shadow barrage, if u loose hp like drops down by 20, then use blood barrage which heals u up and hits tht guy, dont do it all the time because it has a less chance to work than other barrages

You are very wrong, def has NOTHING to do with mage boxing. Your mage level is your mage defence. to the OP: get max hp and keep trying.

 

Get 99hp firstly.

A second advantage is having first hit.

 

Ice barrage/blitz are accurate spells.
Start with smoke barrage, then shadow/ice and when you are 50% hp start blood barragin.
When opponent is below 20% hp use blood/shadow blitz

 

He is talking about NOT hitting.
Prayer and summoning have NO effect on the hits you do.
That only effects your combat, and he's staking people his level.

Switch attacks.
From blood/smoke/shadow barrages and blitz'

 

It amuses me to no end how since the beginning of staking people seem to think that having 1 pray and 1 summ will automatically make you bank. WRONG. Everyone will look you up and you won't get to fight people with much lower combat stats anyway. Having 1 pray and summ is advantageous in the lower levels (under 80) though in helping you find an equal fight cause nobody low level has over 11 prayer or so.

 

wait so does def=more splashes? or does def not matter in mageboxing
